Engineering & Maintenance

  Keeping our large-scale properties at peak comfort and in mint condition is a major undertaking. Our engineering department employs licensed HVAC mechanics, electricians, and maintenance professionals who take care of wiring and electrical engineering projects, painting and other maintenance duties, primarily in the climate-controlled comfort of our hotel and convention center buildings.


 

Horticulture

  One of the distinguishing features of a Gaylord Hotel is the glass atrium, which soars over interior landscapes that replicate the beauty of local flora. To design, install, and maintain these plantscapes, we employ an entire horticulture department, which is also responsible for seasonal and holiday displays. Positions include horticulture manager and lead technician.
 

Purchasing & Retail

  The food, beverage and guest room products we supply for our guests help make their stays special. Our purchasing team ensures that we provide guests with quality products throughout their visits to our spectacular hotel properties. Also, each property has a number of retail shops to serve guests. We employ outgoing individuals who sell merchandise, assist customers and track sales in our retail shops.
 

Security & Safety Services

  Our guests’ safety and security is paramount, and we employ safety services agents, managers and a director of safety and security to monitor the properties, provide security at special events and shows, offer assistance while awaiting emergency personnel, conduct safety inspections, and support company safety policies.
 

Spa

  Our full-service spas provide guests a relaxing retreat where they can pamper themselves, and our completely modern fitness centers provide a perfect environment for working out. A spa director leads the spa and fitness center operations. Other positions within the spa include fitness instructors, spa attendants and licensed therapists.
 

Recreation, Special Events & Entertainment

  Entertainment is a vital part of every Gaylord guest experience. We deliver entertainment to our guests daily in most of our restaurants, at our clients’ conferences and throughout the resort during seasonal special events. Our entertainment offerings are led by directors and managers of special events and entertainment. These leaders work with a talented team of performing STAR employees who use their talents to create innovative, unique and captivating guest experiences.
